Sanjeev Verma – Practice Manager and Chief Risk Officer
Sanjeev is highly experienced having worked for both FCA and SRA regulated firms in the City of London. He has a good understanding of the regulatory landscape and has worked across a range of governance related activities, including Regulation 18 Firm Wide Risk Assessments, Insolvency and the repatriation of client assets.
Recently, having worked for Smith and Williamson (now Evelyn Partners) on a Special Administration, providing a comprehensive overview of insolvency rules within financial services, and also providing significant input in the court-approved Distribution Plan for sourcing brokers, due diligence and the migration of corporate and retail clients.
He has previously completed a similar role for PwC on a high-profile Special Administration collaborating with insolvency practitioners, enhancing their comprehension of complex assets and clients for migration, providing significant exposure to delinquent assets, financial crime as well as dealing with red flag countries.
Sanjeev has previously sat on panels for Trade Bodies specialising in governance rules for the financial services industry and central securities depositaries.
